Our weekend get away!

For some reason I LOVE staying in hotels....i'm not exactly sure why. But lately i've been wanting a sort of get away for Josh and I so I planned a little surprise weekend for him!!

I placed a little letter in his work bag and texted him and told him to look for it. It didn't have much details other than we were going somewhere this weekend and that was pretty much it. I made him suffer a little until I told him where I hid the next letter. The next one said where we were going and what all we were going to do (it was very clever if I do say so myself) and he was so excited!!

So friday after we both got off we drove up to Salt Lake and stayed in the Holiday Inn. We went and had dinner at this fancy restaurant called Benihana's, it's like a Japanese Grill where they cook the food right infront of you. So come saturday morning we went up to Park City and went shopping at the outlet malls and it was so fun! We never go shopping or buy new clothes so it felt nice to finally replace old clothes that needed replaced and we got some winter clothes because I'm pretty sure each of us have literally only 3 long sleeve shirts! And then we came back and went swimming in the hot tub and relaxed in our hotel.

It was so much fun to get out of Provo especially the weekend of BYU homecoming....we live RIGHT on campus so it would have been a nightmare getting in and out of our place. Seriously! But now we have come back to work and school and all those fun things.
