Fun Weekend

We had a really fun weekend and got to spend a lot of time together with each other this past weekend. Friday night we went to a Focus Group for the Church. They hired a research company to put on this focus group and asked us several questions and in return we each got $50! It was well worth listening to whiny people wanting life handed to them on a silver platter. (Basically)

Saturday morning we did our usual wake up early and go to the gym. Afterwards we went and Met Josh's uncle and his girlfriend at a Mongolian Restaurant. We had never been to one before but we absolutely loved it. We got to make our own food by choosing any meat, veggies, noodles, sauces (they have like 40 to choose from) and after we make our concoction we handed it to the chef to grill on their HUGE grill. It was fun to be able to make your own food and if you didn't like it, you could go back and recreate it! It was fun to catch up with them and spend a few hours just enjoying everyone's company.

We went home and I had fun working on a few crafts and Josh worked on some homework. We went and spent a little time with his family to see what they were up to.

Of course the only way to finish off a fun weekend is with...ICE CREAM! I'm a huuuuge ice cream fan and my husband is so sweet and always treats me to ice cream. I've found my favorite kind around here: Culver's Mint Chocolate Chip concrete (concrete's are St. Louis blizzard pretty much)

When Josh took the picture I first smiled and he said "No" he wanted a silly face. So this is what I came up with. hahah

 Josh loves to get the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough one. :)

We had a lot of fun together this weekend and I was sad when the night ended on Sunday, cause I knew that meant back to work and school. But I'm grateful for my sweet Husband and all the fun we have together.
