My Work had a Chili Cook off and I was really excited to participate! I read a few recipes online and well most chili recipes are the exact same. So once I made mine I was thinking "Wow, this is going to taste the same as everyone else's" So I added a little "somethin somethin" to spice it up a little
Of course I had to make a sign to let everyone know mine was different and of course, better than all the rest! (I'm not sure why the image turns, cause it's not turned on my desktop)
We had several cups that we number that way we could keep track of who's is who's. As we were deciding people kept saying "Wow, #5 is good"
All the comments got me excited that I could actually win. Well turns out I won 2nd place! Wahoo Go me! I don't know if it was my "secret ingredient" or the TEXAS sign, regardless! I rock!

Wow Kayla! Your 1st cooking contest and you won 2nd place?! Reminds me of a few years ago when you entered your first pageant and WON! LOL Congratulations! Hope you remember the recipe- you need to share it with me!
