Toughest Mudder I know!

This weekend Josh ran the "Tough Mudder" with some friends. It was about 3 hours away from our house so we had to wake up before 5am to get there! They ran 11 miles with 22 different obstacles! I was SO proud of Josh and SO excited that I got to take so many pictures of him. I told him last night how excited I am he did it and how I love to tell everyone about it and brag about MY husband! :)

Poor sleepy boy!

There was a LOOOONG line of cars waiting to park!

I babysat these kids while their parents ran the race! (Side note, me and the girl on the right have the EXACT same name! Both Kayla Michele!)
Getting Josh ready to go!
Yay!
Some of the team
Josh was waiting in line to use the bathroom, long line again!
He is ready!
And tough!
The team before!

I mean the tough team!
Starting!

I was excited to see Josh start but sad I couldn't see him past the wall
And he's off!
This is the artic enema. Next to the trailers are big garbage containers full of ice and water and they are constantly dumping more ice in there. The kids and I were watching just listening to the funny reactions of people FREAKING out after they're out of the water. We were just about to leave then I saw the team!

Josh just jumped in!
See his head!
He got out as fast as he could!

He said "Words can't even describe how cold it was!"
He's trying to run and shake the cold off (cute bum!)
I was babysitting his kids
Josh was running around in circles he was so cold!
The Team
Spencer and Amy!

And Josh is off again! I was really really excited that I got to see him. I saw lots of people talking to the people running and I kept thinking "I really wish I could see Josh running in action!" not long after he showed up and I was so excited I took as many pictures as I could!
Lots of people dressed in costumes!
Ninja Turtle! hahah
This was the end, people ran or slid through. The hanging wires were little electric shockers or something that would shock you as you ran through!
Notice why it's called "Tough MUDder" hahah
We finally saw the team! 5 hours later, literally! The kids were exhausted and I kept telling them they should be done in 3 hours. Poor babies I got their hopes up!

Amy is too excited!
I was sad I didn't get to see Josh run through I had JUST looked away ane he passed by. :( I was chasing after him!
He finally found me! :)
Dirty and tired!
The toughest team around!
Go Josh!
I was so excited he was done!

See how dirty he is! He said at one point he was dripping with mud!

All on his face!
I missed him!

This was a HUGE wall they had to climb up that was really slippery from the mud!
I was so proud of Josh for doing this!  I wish i could of seen him run more but I'm so glad I got to see him a little! Josh is really wanting me to try it, I was nervous cause I thought it would be constant running and I have bad knees, but he thinks I can do it! I might give it a try after I do some training and see how my knees do. Anyways i'm really proud of you Josh! I'm glad I got to take so many pictures of you! Thanks for working so hard and sticking to this!! You're the toughest mudder out there! :)
