Wedding/Texas Trip

This past week I had the opportunity to go to Texas for a whole week. My brother was getting married September 21st but the weekend before there was a "Time out for Women" conference in Houston that my mom wanted me to go too. I flew in friday night and we went straight to the conference.

They gave everyone these cute little bags as we walked in the door.

We learned a lot about being positive and remember how to have positive THOUGHTS. How we shoujld focus on the good thoughts we have and we will be a lot happier. There was a quote i really liked "It's the day not you, that's bound to go away." One man said how "the things that are important to us, are important to the Lord." which I really loved because I think it's so true because i've had experiences with that.

My mom made the salad in a jar lunches for us on saturday that were so neat. I'm sure everyone has seen them on pinterest-awesome idea!

I went to give my aunt Kelly a hug when I saw her and some how her toenail scraped my toe and it started bleeding. She didn't even notice. haha

We went to visit my Aunt Shanna and she heard we didn't have blue bell at home so we ran to the store and got all kinds! They were yum!

My Best friend Brittany made this picture for me! It's of both of us at our weddings with our colors. It's so pretty!!

So I was with my mom at a tire shop while her tires were being fixed and I look down and see this. We started laughing and seriously tried to figure out the meaning of it. "To entertain kids? Decorations? Left over parts from cars? Didn't know where else to put it?" But none of those made sense, they should of stuck with the Better homes magazine as a decoration. hahah

And now for the wedding, They got married Friday morning!
