Super Woman

Is what I feel like right now!

Last night we had a relief society activity where we learned how to use power tools and build our own custom frames! I wasn't really prepared for the activity in my attire (neither was anyone else) I guess we weren't really thinking?

The lady teaching the activity has made lots of her own furniture so she was a great instructor teaching us how to make everything!

At first I was a little scared of the table saw but after a few cuts, I got use to it!

After using the nail gun (no pictures) I nailed this bad boy together and voila!

This is my friend Katelin nailing her frame together

Don't you love the skirt and a power tool in hand?
I'm so glad our ward thought of such a FUN non cliche activity for us to do!

I totally wanted to go. I LOVE power tools!!!! Byron got home too late, though, and it didn't seem like a great idea to take Liam to play with power tools. Of course, I bet he would have found some great uses for them.

this is awesome! i've been trying to talk B into teaching me how to use his power tools (besides just the sander, etc) for months, but he's so paranoid that i'll hurt myself while he's away that he refuses. i'm totally going to use this post to convince him! :)
