Another Weekend in Texas

A few weekends ago I got the change to fly down for my best friend Brittanys wedding! My dad and Nate picked me up from the wedding and we ran into some good ol Texas rain on the way home. You can barely see the cars infront of us!

One of my really good friends Heather happen to be having a baby shower the day I was there! It was so fun to visit her and see all the fun things she was getting! She looks SO good and has stayed skiing except for the little baby belly bump.

Lia was eating some blue cake and I realized my mom and I need more pictures together!

After the shower I rushed to Brittanys wedding where all us girls got to get ready together. Brittany even asked me to do her make up! :)

I got to see my childhood best friend Whitney and her sweet husband and adorable son.

The wedding was absolutely perfect. It was my first time being IN a wedding and even though I was a brides main, I felt so special!

The reception was lots of fun and I was so happy again to be apart of her big day!

The next day (Sunday) We went to my great grandma's family reunion.I went with my Grandma to pick them up from Marianne and Jonathon's house to bring them to the reunion. They heard us at the door and ran and hid under the beds. When I was trying to get Khalil to come out I told him we were going to a party and he jumped up so high and yelled "A PARTY!?!?! a REAL party?!?!?" I told him yes! :/ Was that bad? lol Family reunions are boring parties...right?

I was SO happy to see them! (We didn't get to see them our last visit) Aaliyah is just as beautiful and sweet as ever and Khalil is just as funny and cute! The had a big bag of candy and were as happy as could be.

They wanted to show their suckers off. Khalil was telling me about "Dino Land" that Marianna and Jonathon took them too. He said "it was the best day of his life" and "Marianne took pictures of me!" he was BEYOND excited!

I got me some good southern food! BBQ, boudain, potato salad and baked beans...yummm

So Rachel was taking a picture of us and she kept taking more and more and more while we just sat there so I smiled at first then after a few I made an angry face at her, it's kind of funny!

Then she took some of me tickeling Aaliyah (her laugh is adorable!!)

Then she moved the camera real close to I picked Aaliyah's nose! haha She just sat there! lol

The last pictures before I left to catch my plane. I told Khalil I had to go cause I lived far away and he got really excited and said "Can I come?" I told him sadly no and he kept asking and asking, it broke my heart!

I was there for 1 full day and 2 half days, so Friday-Sunday. It was a short trip but I got to see lots of family and friends and be apart of my best friends wedding! Thanks so much Nate for using your points to fly me down! :)
