I Love My Husband

I recently started up a camp for girls in our ward called "Little Women in Training" where we learn table manners, how to cook, how to bake, how to be modest, how to be healthy and how to make a few fun crafts! It's ages 7-11 and it's 6 weeks, every Wednesday 5-6:30. It's an easy and fun way to make some extra money for things we need around the house.

My first week was last week and we cooked spaghetti and meatballs with salad and garlic bread. We had lots of fun learning to "not put our elbows on the table, talk with our mouth full or play at the table.

I just have to say I absoloutely LOVE how sweet and supportive my husband has been of this. He keeps coming up with ideas for me telling me "We should use meatballs to teach the girls how to cut the big meatballs, make a healthy bag to send the girls home with, make sure you have ribbons and glitter and sparkly things for their picture frames."

I'm not going to lie I have an extremely involved husband (compared to most) who helps me pick out clothes for work, when i'm buying new clothes at the store, making sure I get "the good stuff" when it comes to make up, making SURE my hair is always as white as possible (yes, he highlights my hair) and helping me decorate the house. Although he does often said "I don't know, I don't care" he usually has an opinion, which I love!

I asked Josh to run to the store and pick out some ribbon for me at Michael's and he picked out jewels for a craft tonight. I remembered we would need glue so I asked him to get that as well then I said nevermind I have a hot glue gun and he replied "are you sure? that's a lot of gluing for all the girls. It's only $1." I thought you know he is right. Just get some glue! But what husband thinks of this? Infact, what husband runs into Michaels, without physical force, to pick up a few crafts for his wife?

Mine. And that is why I love him. Because he is the most involved husband I have ever heard of! I love how he always has an opinion on everything, how sometimes he is picky when it comes to the make up I wear or the clothes I pick out. I know he always wants me to have the best and he is never controlling, he is only wanting me to look my best of own the best. So once again, I am so thankful for how involved my sweet handsome husband is!
